Lunenburg County Winery is nestled on a drumlin about 25 minutes inland from Mahone Bay and Lunenburg. This 100-acre farm displays row upon row of high bush blueberries and specializes in fruit wines, though it grows and makes several grape wines too. The artfully painted winery is a good indication of this cottage winery’s highly individualistic wines, from its aptly named Razilly Raspberry and Oxbells and Fireflies to Montbeliard Pear and Bouteilliers L’Acadie. No artifice here – have a picnic, pick berries, and taste the delicious wines.
