We’re raising a glass to global recognition!

We are thrilled to share that two of our wineries have received international recognition at the 2025 Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA)—the world’s largest and most influential wine competition.
Now in its 22nd year, the DWWA is respected globally for its rigorous blind-tasting process and internationally respected panel. This year’s competition saw wines from 57 countries evaluated by 248 top international wine experts, including 22 Master Sommeliers and 72 Masters of Wine—the most in the competition’s history. With such intense global competition, DWWA results are a benchmark of quality for both producers and consumers.
That’s why we’re so proud to announce that two of our Nova Scotia wineries—L’Acadie Vineyards and Blomidon Estate—have been honoured among the best. These awards prove once again that Nova Scotia is producing world-class wines worthy of international recognition. They serve as a testament to the dedication, innovation, and high quality coming out of our cool-climate wine region.
Cheers to our talented winemakers for putting Nova Scotia on the map, and congratulations to both wineries for this exciting achievement!
