1365 Church Street Vineyard & Winery

This 13-acre vineyard has breathtaking views of the Wellington Dyke, North Mountain and Cape Blomidon, and the entire property is nestled in vines.  There is a climate-controlled barrel cellar room where their red wines are aged for at least 3-5 years.  It took passion and dedication to turn 1365 Church Street from a barley field to a beautiful mature vineyard, boasting unforgettable sunrises and sunsets, within just five short years.

Buy Direct

Opening in 2020, the boutique winery is open year-round, seven days a week for tastings, tours and private events.

John and Amber Eikelenboom’s love of the vineyard and winery, is only surpassed by their love of making great wines for all to enjoy!

Meet the Winemaker

John Eikelenboom and Patrick Cantieni have been making wine for their entire friendship.  John with his former vineyard and Patrick with his Woodside vineyard, are now reconnected and making amazing wines that are timeless and unhurried at 1365 Church Street Vineyard.  John’s 55 years of farming experience is the main reason for the quality of the vines and grapes being produced.  Farming is an art and not for the faint of heart.  Patrick has been John’s wine consultant for over 2 decades and together they have made 9 vintages for 2020.

Vine pruning has begun🍇 The primary goal of pr Vine pruning has begun🍇

The primary goal of pruning is to maximize the amount of one-year-old wood on each grapevine without encouraging the plant to produce so many grape clusters that it lacks the energy and nutrients to fully ripen them.
