Lost Bell’s vineyard is situated on a gently sloping hill overlooking the Avon River Valley. It is one of the warmest vineyard sites in Nova Scotia, which assists in the ripening of the 12 grape varieties grown on the estate.

Lost Bell Winery, formerly Sainte Famille Winery, was founded in 1990 by the Corkum family, who pride themselves on making every customer feel like family. The stunning view of the Avon Valley is an excellent pairing for one of the lively whites or firm reds available for tasting.

Meet the Winemaker
Tony Barkhouse has been part of Sainte Famille for over 18 years. He grew up in Kingsport, NS and now lives in Kentville. In addition to his winemaking skills, Tony is a fantastic musician. He and his brother, Lenny, can be found playing at many local pubs in the area. Adventurous by nature, Tony is excited to be working on Sainte Famille’s newest creation, a canned wine/cider blend. His great love for the Nova Scotian countryside extends beyond the vineyard to camping, hiking, and snowshoeing.
